 Day
1: Arrive in HANOI
Meet at Noi Bai International Airport or railway station. Check in
hotel. Enjoy our welcome dinner, go for a walk and enjoy Ha Noi at night
by yourself. Overnight in Ha Noi.
Day
2: HANOI - SAPA
We drive to Sa pa with sightseeing stops along the road. Lunch en route.
Late afternoon we will arrive at a hill tribe village, where we will
sleep overnight. Basic conditions.
Day
3: SAPA
Trek up together with the local villagers for 12 km on a mountain track
to Sapa town, where we will spend the night in a comfortable hotel.
Evening: Visit the "night market" of the hill tribes.

4: SAPA - LAI CHAU
Drive on to Lai Chau, passing the highest mountain pass in Vietnam.
Today we will have a chance to visit one of the most colorful hill tribe
markets, where there are many different ethnic minority people joining
in. Dinner and overnight in guest house.
Day
5: LAI CHAU - SON LA
Cruise down the Black River by fishing boat. Witness ordinary life of
the Thai people along the river bank. Tonight, we stay in one of the
Thai people villages.

6: SON LA - MAI CHAU
Transfer on to Mai chau with a few stops on the way for taking pictures.
Free to wander around the valley before having dinner on stilt-house of
the Thai people. Overnight on the floor of the house in the village.
Clean and comfortable. Mattress, blanket and pillow are provided (all
these are handmade in the traditional way).

7: MAI CHAU - HA NOI
Enjoy beautiful, peaceful scenery along the path. Picnic lunch en route.
Altogether, the trek takes some 6 hours to get back to Mai chau with a
lot of stops on the way. Drive back to Hanoi. Overnight in Hanoi.

8: HA NOI - HA LONG Bay - CAT BA Island
Morning departure for Ha long City. Upon arrival, we get on boat to
visit 5 hours cruise in Halong Bay, visit grottos and beautiful islets
of worldwide famous Halong Bay: Dau Go grotto, Thien Cung cave or Sung
Sot grotto. Bathing in Ti Top island, a beautiful beach at offshore Ha
Long Bay. Arrive Cat ba Island. Night in hotel.
Day 9: CAT BA National Park - LAN HA Bay
Transfer to Cat ba National Park, where we will do a trek for 18 km
through the rain forest to a fishing village. Lunch in the village,
Then, start exploring the many islands and beaches by canoe. Set up camp
and overnight at no-name beach in Lan Ha Bay.
Day
10: LAN HA Bay - CAT BA Island
Today we go back to Cat ba Island. Rest of the day: Free at
leisure. Night at hotel.
Day
11: CAT BA Island - HAI PHONG - HA NOI
Morning: we catch the local hydrofoil to Hai phong. After a
city tour of Hai phong, we travel by road back to Hanoi. After dinner,
we are entertained by the Water Puppet Show.
Day
12: HA NOI Out
Transfer to airport or railway station for departure.
