HANOI - MAI CHAU - HOA LU - HA LONG BAY -

 Day
1: Arrival in HANOI
Meet at Hanoi international airport. Transfer to hotel. At leisure.
Day 2: HA NOI
Hanoi city tour: Visit Hanoi's attractive spots: visit the Temple of
Literature (Van Mieu) and Quoc Tu Giam, Viet Nam’ s first university,
where still remains 82 memorial stone stele. Continue to visit Sword
Lake (Hoan Kiem Lake) with the legend King Le give valuable sword back
to the Golden Tortoise, enjoy splendid The Huc Bridge and ancient Ngoc
Son in Ha Noi bright sun. Evening: Water puppet show.
Day 3: HA NOI - MAI CHAU
Drive to Mai chau (150 km). Visit Muong minority village in Hoabinh en
route. Lunch in Hoabinh. Then continuous to go to Mai chau. Evening:
enjoy pipe rice wine and folk dance performance by local people. Dinner
and night at a stilt house in Thai minority village.
Day 4: MAI CHAU - HOA LU - HA NOI
Pick up to Ninh Binh. Road trip takes 2 hours (100 km South of Hanoi).
Visit Hoa lu - ancient Capital. Short climb up the Yen Ngua Mountain to
have a panoramic view of all the area. Transfer to Tam coc, whose
nick-name is "Ha long Bay on land". Lunch at Anh Dzung restaurant in Tam
coc. Then, enjoy a wonderful 2 and a half hours (return) rowing sampan
trip through the three local caves in a super-quiet little river between
rice paddies and steep rocky mountains. Tour ends at your hotel in Hanoi
around 5.00 - 6.00 PM. Take part water puppetry show. Overnight in Ha
Noi.
Day 5: HA NOI - HA LONG BAY
Am: Free. PM: Drive to Ha long Bay. Overnight in Ha long.
Day 6: HA LONG BAY - HA NOI
Full day boat cruise in Ha long Bay. Then get on boat to visit 5 hours
cruise in Halong Bay, visit grottos and beautiful islets of worldwide
famous Halong Bay: Dau Go grotto, Thien Cung cave or Sung Sot grotto.
Bathing in Ti Top island, a beautiful beach at offshore Ha Long Bay.
Have a lunch on boat, take a stroll on the seaside, and talk with
friends in Royal Park. Return to Ha Noi. Overnight in Ha Noi.
Day 7: HA NOI - HUE
Transfer to airport for flight to Hue. PM: Visit Imperial Citadel which
houses the Forbidden Purple City, the original home of the emperors.
Dinner with royal dishes at a bonsai garden restaurant. Free time to
enjoy romantic ancient capital of Hue at night. Overnight in Hue.
Day 8: HUE
Boat trip on Perfume River to visit Thien Mu pagoda, Minh Mang and Khai
Dinh Tombs. Overnight in Hue.
Day 9: HUE - DA NANG
Transfer to Danang with sight-seeing stops at Lang co beach; enjoy Lang
Co's turquoise waters and white sandy beaches, and the spectacular Hai
Van pass, through Son Tra peninsula. Visit Cham Museum. Overnight in Da
nang.
Day 10: DA NANG - HOI AN
Visit Marble Mountains, China Beach. Then drive on to visit Hoian
ancient town, visit Hoian ancient city to see the traditional Hoian
Church, the beautiful Japanese Bridge and the famous China Beach Hoian
ancient town. Overnight in charming Hoian
Day 11: HOI AN - NHA TRANG
Drive to Nha trang with sight-seeing stops at Ca na pass and Dai lanh
beach. Lunch at local restaurant en route. Overnight in Nha trang.
Day 12: NHA TRANG
Am: Visit Cham Ponagar Towers, Hon Chong Rocks. PM: Boat trip to
Neptune's Palace. Swimming. Relax at fishing village. Overnight in Nha
trang.
Day 13: NHA TRANG - DA LAT
Overland drive to Delta with sight-seeing stops at Cham Poklong Gia rai
Towers and Ngoan muc Mountain Pass. Overnight in Da lat.
Day 14: DA LAT
Full day of sightseeing in and around Dalat, including a tour of the
summer residence of Vietnam's last emperor, Bao Dai, the old steam
engines of the Dalat Cremaillere Railway, and monasteries, cathedrals
and convents that populate this former French retreat. Dalat's temperate
climate makes it ideal for vegetable and flower cultivation, and the
tour includes a visit to the Dalat Market and the Dalat Flower Garden to
see a variety of orchid species. Overnight in Dalat.
Day 15: DA LAT - HO CHI MINH City
Drive to Ho Chi Minh city. Afternoon city tour visit to the most
attractive sites in town: Vinh Nghiem Pagoda, War Remnants Museum and
the Reunification Conference Hall. Dinner on the floating restaurant on
the Saigon River. Overnight in HCM City.
Day 16: HO CHI MINH City - SOC TRANG
- CAN THO
Drive to Soc trang. Visit Bat Pagoda, Khmer Museum and traditional boat
yard. Transfer to Can tho. Overnight in Can tho.
Day 17: CAN THO - HCM City
Visit famous Phung hiep floating market and rural life along river
banks. Return to HCM City. Overnight in HCM City.
Day 18: HCM City - TAY NINH - HCM City
Drive to Tay Ninh. Travel by coach to the magnificent Caodai Temple.
Lunch en route .Then transfer to visit the underground tunnels in Cu
chi, built by the Vietcong (Vietnamese communist) during the war. Back
to HCM City.
Day 19: HCM City Out
Shopping at leisure. Transfer to Tan son nhat international airport.
